RCFC Members Tanis Roeder and Annette Geiselman have teamed to bring family connections into local ICUs. After hearing from an ICU nurse friend how difficult it is for patients not allowed to have visitors, Tanis wanted to find a way to make sure all patients in ICU could stay in touch with family and friends while in isolation. So, she started raising money and worked with fellow Rotarian Annette Geiselman to deliver Amazon tablets to Poudre Valley Hospital, Medical Center of the Rockies and the Greeley Hospital. Not only did Tanis get the tablets donated, but she configured them so that they would be ready to be used. So far 30 tablets have been launched and 30 more are being set up. Other non-profits in Northern Colorado have now started reaching out to Tanis to request tablets also.
