On July 21st at noon, we continue the theme of hearing back from the international program students we have supported in the past.  Our speaker via Zoom will be Stacey Baumgarn. He was a 1995-1996 Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar to Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, India. He is well qualified to address the area of “sustainability”, for which CSU has received a lot of recognition in recent years. As the Campus Energy Coordinator in Facilities Management at CSU, Stacey is responsible for education and outreach to the faculty, staff and students of Colorado State University – working to achieve energy, water, and resource conservation through occupant engagement. Join Zoom meeting

At CSU, sustainability is about a holistic approach that recognizes the strong ties among economics, social justice, and environmental justice. Sustainability 101 at CSU is designed to answer some FAQ's: What do we do? How do we do it? Who is involved? Expect to hear examples how everyone is a part of this success.

Our guest speaker has worked for CSU since 2012, after earning a double BA in Philosophy and Sociology and an MSBA through the College of Business, Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise (GSSE) program at CSU. Stacey is also a former member for the Rotary Club of Fort Collins – serving on the Board of Directors from 2005-2008.
