Perfect Party -- The Return

The Dublin AM Rotary Club Perfect Party Returns

Date:  Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 6:30 p.m.

Location:  Mike and Heather Isler's Home 5720 Brand Rd.

The Dublin AM Rotary Club hasn't had a Perfect Party since, it seems, the Carter Adminstration.  But the Social Committee is excited to announce that our malaise is over and we can once again gather for a Perfect Party.  You might be asking yourself, what is a Perfect Party?  Or even, at this point, what is a party?  Well, fear not, the Social Committee has your back with a multi-step guide to attending a Perfect Party:

Step One:  Figure out whether you would like to attend the Perfect Party.  (Answer: YES!)

Step Two:  Invite guests to come with you.  While inviting your spouse or significant other is always a good idea to prevent relational discord, we would LOVE it if you would also invite a non-Rotarian guest to help show folks what being a part of the Dublin AM Rotary Club is all about.

Step Three:  Click on the link in this e-mail or go on Club Runner to RSVP for yourself and your guest(s).

Step Four:  Wait patiently for the party to arrive in several weeks.  Perhaps get some yardwork done, binge watch WandaVision, or finally trim that nagging hangnail -- the possibilities are endless!

Step Five:  Bring (1) a drink of your choice to share; and (2) if your last name begins with A-L, bring a dessert to share or, if your last name begins with M-Z, bring an appetizer to share.  (Emphasis on the clause "to share," nobody likes the person monopolizing the candied bacon.) 

Step Six:  Show up on Mike and Heather's doorstep at 6:30 p.m. on August 14, 2021.  Or, if you want to be fashionably late, make a dramatic entrance at 6:36 p.m.

Step Seven:  Party!

See, just seven short steps to follow.  Mike and Heather would probably appreciate a "Step Eight: Leave Before 4:00 a.m." but, hey, the Committee just sets up the parties, it doesn't end them.  #notmyjob
