Our speaker this week was our own Tim Moore.  Photography has been a passion of his since his teenage years. His recent trip to the Kingdom of Bhutan was something that he and Jane will never forget.  It was a small group of enthusiasts lead by a professional photographer.

Bhutan is a small mountainous country in the Himalayas.  It is only 350 km wide.  Visitors are only allowed into the country if there is a local guide and a driver.  They do not believe in Gross National Product. Gross National Happiness is more important.

It is a mainly Buddhist country with friendly religious people.  They saw many temples, monks, prayer wheels and prayer flags.  Amazing scenery and wildlife made the early starts worthwhile.  The national sport is Archery where national dress is worn.

A great presentation and the pictures on the large screen were fantastic.  Check out some of the pics below.  Thanks Tim for sharing your trip with us.
