Clare Ganderton reported that a 3-year old girl from Dili, underwent surgery on Monday to remove a large tumour from her kidney. She is hosted by the Rotary Club of Mt Eliza.She had already received some chemotherapy in Dili to reduce the size of the tumour before arriving in Australia, so that the surgery could take place.
She is making a fabulous recovery, but will require some rehabilitation and radiotherapy in Dili after the operation to complete the treatment.
