What a scorcher of a morning we had today. We were greeted with beautiful sunshine and very humid conditions.

Despite the extreme hot and humid weather we had 39 out of the 40 expectant stallholders arrive for the market today with high expectations for the customer turn out.

We had a couple of new stalls join us this month including soy candles and Pomegranate Juice and the return of some old stallholders which included Dulce cakes, Silvan seeds & South Seeds and Candlebright.
Peninsula Honey was unable to make it this month, much to a variety of customers (including some Rotarians that were very disappointed- John in particular so if anyone has some spare honey you may want to share with him). We had last minute regulars such as A1 Sharp and Unique Pasta pull out at the last minute however this did allow some newbies such as Some Little Wogs and Wafflelicious to have their space and see what they could do. Everyone was setup by 7.30 and we were ready to welcome in the tons of customers, however this wasn’t the case as we had one of the slowest days with customers dripping occasional throughout the morning.

Even though it was slow going, we did still manage to have some stallholders report back that they did ok.
As per usual, the volunteers at the market were amazing and I wish to thank each and every one of you for your help this month.
With next month’s market being our traditional Christmas market I hope to see all of you in attendance to bring some extra cheer as get into the Christmas spirit.

Don’t forget to wear your Christmas hats……See you there, Regards Cheryl
