Another great meeting with many guests.  Parking was difficult due to junior inter league football games.  Not even the caterers knew it was on.

Several members attended the Foundation 100 year celebration dinner in the city.  District 9810 organised a fantastic night of dinner and dancing.  The main aim was fundraising.  $5 million dollars was pledged on the night with $2 million of that from one person.

The Cranbourne changeover is on 23rd June at Settlers Run.  Cathy Dunscome is the incoming president.  $55 per person. See Adrian for details.

Treasurer Wendy has sent statements out.  If you are in credit you didn’t receive one.  All invoices for payment and reimbursement need to be in ASAP.

Bill Minns is back in Hospital with pneumonia but is doing ok.  Rob Wingrave has had heart problems and is home from hospital.

Changeover on the 28th is coming up soon.  Invitations are out.  Please come along and celebrate this year and look forward to the next.  Bookings are fill up so please make sure to book in your guests.  Handbooks should be available on the night.

Viv Armstrong spoke about an Australian Rotary Health Meeting.  She was very impressed with the calibre of the people involved.  They in turn were impressed about the RC Berwick’s work with Mental Health First Aid and the sporting groups.  She has been asked to speak at other clubs about it.  Well done Viv, we may yet become a role model for this project.

The South East Feast with Nossall High School is on Sat 16th Sept 10-4pm.  Planning is well under way. 15-20 food trucks and pop up kitchens, wineries, boutique brewery and produce stalls will be in attendance.  Entertainment will see kids entertainment and 2 stages for school and community group performances.

We have had some issues with people not putting in apologies in a time for the Graduates Restaurant.  If we have an outside function, apologies need to be in at least 48 hours prior.

The Holland Festival run by the RC Monash was a huge success.  Our contribution from the event has $4300 going to the St John Of God Hospital.  Well done to all those who worked so hard on the day.
