Christchurch, slowly recovering from the trauma and devastation of the magnitude 6.3 earthquake in 2011, which caused severe damage, killing 185 people and injuring several thousand, is now having to deal with the tragedy of the recent cruel terrorist act.
Fifty people were killed and dozens more injured in the cowardly shooting spree carried out on Friday 15 March at two mosques. Rotarians deplore the horrific event.
