Today’s meeting began with a status report on the Club by President BOB. This is RCOT’s 7th virtual meeting. The plan is to do virtual meetings at least through May for now.  The Club is meeting with the Doubletree about future meetings/formats as well as Hacienda del Sol to see about a potential change of Administration event scheduled for the end of June.  Keep tuned in to hear about future meetings and special events. President BOB mentioned a survey going out to members to get feedback on how members feel about future gatherings.  Please remember past virtual meetings and other information is found on the RCOT website and the RCOT YouTube channel.  The pledge, song, and inspiration are excellent videos you are encouraged to view and these can also be found on our YouTube channel.

President BOB thanked and acknowledged the following annual sponsors of RCOT.   They include, ERNIE “Roma” MINCHELLA – Long Realty, MATT “Kitchen Sink” NANCE – Arizona Kitchen and Design, PAT “The Market Will Recover” RASKOB – Raskob Kambourian Financial Advisors, WOCKY “The Perfect House” REDSAR, and JEFF “I Have the Coverage” RONSTADT – Ronstadt Insurance. Our Keynote speaker was Patrick Galvin, President and CEO of the Galvanizing Group in Portland, Oregon.  Patrick is also a member of the Rotary Club of Portland and he gave a Ted talk titled, "Should Self-Interest Motivate Service?"  Patrick talked about the health (mental, physical and emotional) benefits of people who participate in service.  It was a wonderful message to all Rotarians. Following his presentation, a Zoom discussion took place with several club members asking Patrick questions.  It was a very informative segment of the presentation.

This week’s birthdays included, PAT RASKOB, TOM MOULTON, and SCOTT VAUGHAN.  We want to wish you all a very happy and healthy birthday!
