President BOB opened the meeting by welcoming everyone to our second virtual meeting during this new normal for the Rotary Club of Tucson.
The pledge was brought to us by Norma Higuera-Trask from Challenger Middle School as she teaches the Sunnyside School District students the history of the pledge of allegiance.
For our song, KHRIS DODGE played I am proud to be an American.
Our inspiration was a video of Jason McElwain known as J-Mac lighting up the basketball court with 20 points in the last four minutes of the first game he ever played in his varsity career. J-Mac is an inspiration to us all.
President BOB introduced KHRIS DODGE’S In-Home Concert series and it was a huge encouragement. With KHRIS on the piano, we were entertained by some wonderful vocalists including Katherine Byrnes, along with her husband, Ryan on guitar. Katherine performed live at a previous Rotary meeting and she certainly is an amazing talent. Thank you KHRIS for putting this concert on for all of us to enjoy during these troubling times.Our birthday members were RICHARD WHITE and CHRIS MOONEY. Happy Birthday RICHARD and CHRIS!

BRETT STEIN shared his random acts of kindness experience. BRETT purchased the groceries of two elderly women who were caught completely off guard and they were overwhelmed with joy to the point of tears. What a great story! BOB, what a wonderful program you introduced to our Rotary members.President BOB reminded us about his number one goal being, Have Fun! With that, President BOB played a video about two German scientists testing beer and in fact it is Helium beer. A very funny video that turns out to be an April Fool’s Day joke. Well played Mr. President!!
JONI CONDIT shared how she and her team are serving her La Posada community and the average age of a resident is 85 years old. JONI and her team are over achievers to say the least.
