Green Mountain Trail – Saturday, 5/21/22, 7AM Meeting for 7:15 AM Departure at LeBuzz East sideWith our first trip into the higher country this season, we will return to our normal eastside meeting place, LeBuzz off of Catalina Highway. From there we will drive to the Green Mountain Trailhead and will make the ascent to San Pedro Vista. Lunch/beverages will follow at Iron Door.
The hike is categorized as Difficult with just under 1,900 vertical feet in elevation covering 4.5 miles and an anticipated hiking time of 3-3.5 hours. Expected temperature at the beginning of the hike should be up to the upper 50’s. We are forecast for a sunny day with high temperature of 75 so be sure to bring sunscreen, plenty of water and snacks.
