Hiking ~ 1/19/19

Thanks to my lovely bride Martha, our hiking group was actually able to complete the Passage 8, Rincon Valley leg of the Arizona Trail.  This was due to my starting us on the wrong trail but thankfully she caught it before we back tracked Passage 7 which is also known as the "Death March."  Joined by Jeff Heath, Bill Kouba and friend of Rotary, Mike Harris we enjoyed the gradual climb from the Gabe Zimmerman trail head crossing canyons, washes and desert until reaching Colossal Cave Park.  We then crossed through the park from South to North and enjoyed the spectacular views.  The last leg was a short jaunt from the park back to Pistol Hill Road concluding our 11.25 mile adventure.
