President Mark opened the meeting by welcoming his fellow Rotarians and any guests and leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Jen Casey offered out thoughts of Gratitude and Reflection.

Announcements:

    -First up was Nick Beadlston introducing Rev. Dr. Laura Alexander Elliott for an update on a World Community Service grantee, Soaring Unlimited Haiti. Rev. Dr. Elliott is a Missionary and the Executive Director. 

    -Next was Ramona Pleva with a reminder for the blood drive, which is coming up on Friday, October 29. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are always welcome. Visit www.Versiti.org/MI or call (866) 642-5663 to schedule an appointment. Donors will receive a limited-edition pint glass, while they last!

Sakura Takano and Jeff Hickman then presented the group with the Rotary Charities Annual Report.
