ShelterBox, is hosting its annual major fundraiser on Human Rights Day 10th December, and would like to connect with Rotary clubs in District 9620 to promote an exciting challenge for disaster relief.

ShelterBox is asking every District to take the ShelterBox District Challenge - encouraging every club in our District to support its Giving Day. No matter how large or small, every donation makes a difference in providing shelter to families worldwide. If our District raises the most funds for disaster relief, we will be named the 2021 ShelterBox District Challenge winner! Please find more information on the Giving Day District Challenge via the link above.

The attached District Challenge flyer you will note there’s an opportunity to become a ‘matched-funder’ with a donation of $1,000 or more to a Matched-Giving Pool for the Giving Day campaign. This will allow ShelterBox to leverage the donation and further encourage the public to donate on the day, by offering to ‘double their donation’. Rotary Clubs will be recognised on the Giving Day campaign page and become eligible for the ShelterBox Champion Program run over three consecutive years.
