Cooroy Mountain Spring Festival

The Rotary Club of Cooroy announce the Cooroy Mountain Spring Festival to be held at 314 Cooroy Mountain Road on Sunday 21 August 2022 from 6.30 am to 1.00 pm; The once a year opportunity to climb Cooroy Mountain with all net proceeds donated to good causes. No pre-registration just turn up on the day. Entry price held at $10 and children aged under 12 Free. No dogs allowed.

Suitable for all ages, the stony track to the summit gives spectacular views to the Ocean to the East and over the Noosa Hinterland to the West. Please be patient with others; it will be busy on the mountain and enjoy the day.

Billy tea and damper and a hearty breakfast to start; a hay ride to the ‘base camp’ with telescopes for a detailed look at the surrounding countryside; relax with entertainment, explore the stalls, enjoy the food or take the youngsters around the rainforest observation trail.

McDermott Helicopters will provide short flights over the mountain. Tickets are $60, limited to 100 and sold on a first come basis. They always sell out quickly.  Feeling Lucky? The Helicopter Ball Drop raffle has great prizes to be won.
