The Rotary Club of Scottsdale North will host its 3rd annual fundraising event on Saturday March 10th to benefit Soldier’s Best Friend, a Peoria based charity that aids veterans and rescue dogs.

Soldier's Best Friend provides US military veterans living with combat related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) with service or therapeutic dogs, the majority of which are rescued from local shelters. The veteran and the dog work together with the guidance of Soldier’s Best Friend to build a trusting relationship with each other that saves two lives at once and inspires many others.

Soldier’s Best Friend maintains a training facility in Peoria that provides a safe and professional facility for the veterans and their dogs to attend training sessions and houses an administrative office, reception area and training tools and equipment with a large yard for events.

The fundraising event will be held at Pinnacle Peak Village on the patio of the General Store, 8711 E. Pinnacle Peak Rd. in Scottsdale from 5:30-8:30.  The cost of the event is $40.00 per person and includes two glasses of wine or beer (additional drinks can be purchased), dinner and appetizers, live music by The Last Straw and opportunities to bid on silent and live auction items.

All proceeds from the event support Soldier's Best Friend (www.soldiersbestfriend.org) a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt organization. Purchase tickets online at www.rotaryscottsdalenorth.org.
