Annual Verde River Day Duck Race

The Annual Verde River Day Duck Race fundraiser presented by the Rotary Club of the Verde Valley, will take place on September 30, 2017 from 9:00am - 3:00pm at Dead Horse Ranch State Park, Cottonwood, AZ. Verde River Day promotes preservation and care of the environment by showcasing informative exhibits on the Verde's unique riparian habitat.FREE ADMISSION!

The Rotary Club of the Verde Valley will be selling tickets for little plastic ducks that are raced down the river. This long time Verde River Days tradition raises money to fund the Club’s many local programs, including college and trade school scholarships for graduates of Mingus and Camp Verde High Schools, the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), the Student Ambassador and Student of the Month program, and support for area non-profit community service organizations.
