The NZ Professional Development Exchange team are now safely back home after 28 days of  travelling  around Tasmania.
They had an amazing time visiting many farms  and  tourist attractions from Launceston up to Smithton in the north west then down to Hobart and the Port Arthur area. Plenty of fun was had while lots of friendships were formed and industry knowledge debated and shared.

It is obvious that the team has really bonded, become firm friends and have been great ambassadors for Rotary.  While they may have come back tired they are also full of inspiration and knowledge from their time away. The experience has enriched their lives and already made a difference to them professionally.

Highlights of the trip included MONA, Barnbougle Golf Resort, Tasmania Truffles, Ashford Cheese, Bridestowe Lavender Farm, Woolnorth Farms and Port Arthur to name just a few of the things they experienced.

This is the first education exchange if this type undertaken by the district for many years. Let's hope it continues.
