Short Term Rotary Youth Exchange:

Spread the word to high school students in your community – applications are now being accepted for the 2020 Short Term Exchange Program, and due no later than Feb 1, 2020.  Register interest here:  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1OesrKkjKGrmgSB9JMq_YT7L55SyfxkJkpD5xuJWL-GQ/viewform?edit_requested=true  and share the 2020 Flier with students, school counselors and teachers.

Summer exchange is a program where a student from District 6250 is matched with a student abroad and the two students spend a month at each other’s home, for a total of two months together. It is a great alternative for students who are unable to participate in the long term program. There is no cost to the club, and a minimal cost to the student – a $250 application fee plus the flight and spending money.

Encourage applicants to complete their application over Christmas break to allow your club time to complete the interview process and have the application validated by the STEP committee. Full details available at https://www.rotary6250.org/page/short-term-youth-exchange
