You are invited to a special event with keynote speaker Zondwa Mandela - grandson of Nelson and Winnie Mandela, to celebrate the launch of the Rotary mentoring initiative partnering with MENTOR MATCH supported by the Victorian Government.

International education is Victoria's largest services export industry, with students playing a vital role in our economy and community. Ensuring visiting students are supported and empowered in assimilating into the social and business fabric of our community, allows them to succeed while studying in Victoria. Rotary has an opportunity to help international students build a home away from home.

Date: Thursday 26th May, starting at 6:00pm for 6:30pm. Drinks and Canapes will be served. We are very fortunate that this event is at no cost.

Location: Isabella Fraser Room, State Library Victoria - 328 Swanston St, Melbourne

Book by 20th May 2022 as spaces are limited.  https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/mentormatch-rotary-launch-event-registration-336255458127

Zondwa Mandela - Chairman, Mandela Legacy Foundation

As the Chairman of the Mandela Legacy Foundation, Zondwa has a unique understanding of what it means to be responsible. As the grandson of Nelson and Winnie Mandela, he has inherited the responsibility of continuing his grandparent's lifelong pursuit of equality, human rights, equal opportunity and social justice.

The Mandela Legacy is committed to carrying on these ideals and is charged with continuing to fight for those beliefs. Together with partners and associates, he strives to catalyse and scale transformative innovations, create unlikely partnerships that span sectors, and take risks others cannot, or will not, take.

For more than 10 years, the Mandela Legacy’s mission has been to develop solutions and partnerships that can improve the lives of South Africans. Zondwa’s immediate focus is to create a future for South Africa’s youth by providing hope, guidance and most importantly of all - opportunity.

We are proud to present this event with the support of our partners. Global Victoria is an agency of the Victorian Government; Study Melbourne is the division of the Victorian Government responsible for international education; and CivicLabs ran the pre-accelerator program that supported the development of MentorMatch.
