District 9800 Regional Container Project - Does your Club have a container project that is ready to go?

For just $500, your club can become a Project Partner at Donations in Kind (DIK) and have the chance to receive up to $10,000 to help with the shipping costs.

Project Nominations close 8th April 2022
For an investment of $500 in DIK, if you have a project that requires a container,  you will be in the running to have the cost of shipping covered up to $10,000. All clubs that invest will have three votes to decide which project is the winner.

Affordable     $500 to become a Project Partner with three Project Selection votes.  The $500 also allows Clubs to nominate their own project for selection.

Easy      Project Partners register online.   If you have a project idea, DIK can help to arrange the shipping if requested and provide guidance. Location is not an issue. If it is difficult for your Club to load the container, DIK volunteers will do it for you.

Project Support     The project selected will receive up to $10,000 which should cover the cost of shipping to most countries.   $7000 from the pool and $3000 from a District Foundation Grant if the project complies with the grant conditions.

Project Criteria     COVID19 is significantly affecting shipping in many parts of the world, however things are relatively stable in our region, so Clubs are strongly encouraged to think local.   Most of these countries relied heavily on tourism and are struggling.   We want to move quickly so the project wishlist should be based on readily available goods.

Project Voting closes at 4.00pm on Saturday 23rd April 2022 and the Winner announced at the Conference in Albury.
