As we close out Foundation Month, I wanted to remind you that #GivingTuesday is this Tuesday, November 30. This global day of giving is an opportunity for all Rotary members to make a big impact with a gift of any size to our Annual Fund-SHARE. Last year, we raised more than US$800,000 — and we’re asking you to help us raise even more this year! Watch and share our Giving Tuesday video from the Rotary Foundation.The Foundation will again recognize the top three clubs in fundraising, donor participation, and online giving. See last year’s top performers and set a goal to be on this year’s list.
Donations of $100 to $500 will be matched with points from the District and will make you eligible to join us at the Zone Gala on February 23, 2022. We have a fun kick-off planned for this year’s event. Last year RI President-Elect Jennifer Jones hosted a “Red Carpet” where she chatted with many of the stars and dignitaries who were to be part of the show later. This year we will be opening with “Rotary Tours the Zone”, where a host will drop in LIVE on venues from Alaska to Bermuda, and points between! We will take applications from Rotarians all over and select as many as we can fit in this fun tour of our Zone. Any “hybrid” venue with 10+ attendees (all of whom will be registered for the Gala) will be eligible, from private homes to meeting rooms to banquet halls!
