Burlington Food Pantry Renovations

On June 25th, members of the Burlington Breakfast Rotary Club (BBRC) assisted other volunteers and Burlington Food Pantry staff in moving the contents of the pantry in preparation for a complete overhaul of the space. Food items were re-shelved in the church basement and non-perishable items stored in a pod.

 

A new linoleum floor will replace the worn carpeting, shelving donated by the BBRC will be erected, and the walls repainted. "We worked hard and had a great time helping these 'unsung heroes' who work behind the scenes helping people in need," Said Steve Shaw, BBRC president. "We will get together on July 1st to put it all back once the renovations have been completed."
