The Andover Rotary, Andover Cares, The Knights of Columbus, and other local civic organizations are partnering to help Fuel The Fight-The Andovers, Inc.75% of all (tax deductible) donations for Fuel The Fight made through Andover Cares will support feeding health care workers providing front-line support for citizens in our region. Any remaining donations will support this, or other local causes related to health and wellness in our community, which Andover Cares sponsors.Our struggling local restaurants need business to help survive through the prolonged stay at home advisory period .... and Lawrence General Hospital employees working on the front line of the Covid pandemic need food because their cafeteria is closed ... and moreover, the outpouring of public support in sending meals to the hospital has been a "tremendous" emotional boost to the healthcare workers while they face Covid-19 every day.
