Grants Management Seminars:

The 2014-15 version of the Grants Management seminars will reflect recent changes/modifications that have been put in place by the Trustees of The Rotary Foundation. Also covered will be a review of best practices based upon experience gained during 2013-14.

Qualification is an annual requirement for clubs wishing to participate in a leadership role in any activity involving the use of District Designated Funds (DDF) in 2015 –16. Included are District grants (District Simplified and District Matching); Global Grants (Humanitarian and Scholarship); hosting Global Grant scholars; sponsorship or hosting of Vocational Training Teams (VTT).

Who needs to attend?  the current President, President-elect, Foundation or International Service Chair and the Treasurer. (Treasurers who have attended a Grants Management Seminar within the past two years will be excused.)

Completion of qualification requires that the above listed Rotarians attend a complete Grants Management Seminar and that signed hard copies of the Memorandum of Understanding and D7040 addendum are filed with the District Foundation Chair.

It is understood that no food will be provided at the seminars.  Grants Management Seminars are:

September 13 - 9:00 am – 12:00 – one session – English only -  Sleepy Hollow Bed & Breakfast, 95 King St W., Gananoque

October 5 - 9:00 am – 12:00 - two sessions – one English and one French  - Delta Ottawa City Centre, 101 Lyon Street, Ottawa ON K1R 5T9

December 15 - 9:00 am – 12:00  - two sessions – one English and one French – Montreal (West Island) – location to be confirmed

April 17 -  6:00 pm – 9:00 pm - two sessions – one English and one French - General Vanier School, Cornwall
