Kicking off 2019 was Mahila Khan, President of the Rotaract Club of Danforth, who attended a fellowship meeting in England, with the Rotary Satellite Club of Milton Keynes! (UK) where the Rotaract club sent a video, in support for the 30 years of women in Rotary celebration. She then came back to successfully host the Charter celebration for her club with 28 Rotaract members! Big shout out to their sponsoring Rotary Club of Danforth, who showed great support in helping host the celebration! We are happy to have made our Rotaract Family a little bigger with the addition of the Rotaract Club of Danforth!
The Toronto Rotaract Club has also been busy prepping for their big annual fundraiser that was held on Feburary 22nd at the Beta Shoe Museum. This event is in support of Camp Scugog. It was a very fun and interactive night! Also, congratulations to their club as they have now reached 55 official club members with many more to come!
