According to PR Newswire, the keys to visual marketing success include:

  • Create a compelling story

  • Choose the right type of content

  • Partner with others while telling your story

  • Focus on great design and branding

  • Promote your content strategically.

The images on myrotary.org’s Brand Center are meant to help you do that, but they are also a good place to look and see how you can make your own club’s photos pop. In an upcoming newsletter, Brian is going to share his hints and feedback about how to make the best photos you can make.

In an April 2012 article in
McKinsley Quarterly entitled “Demystifying Social Media,” Roxane Divol, David Edelman and Hugo Sarrazin write, “Understand social media’s core functions: to monitor, respond, amplify, and lead consumer behavior. Then look for the best opportunities to carry out those functions along the journey that consumers embark upon when they make purchasing decisions."
Let's all look for the best opportunities to celebrate what our district and club
does
to make this world a better place.

Best wishes and Happy New Year!

Carrie and Brian

The 2017 Public Image Newsletters are here! The newsletters are all about us trying to share our knowledge with you, so please let us know if there's anything you'd like us to feature or focus on. We have a new format. We hope you like it. They are located under the Public Image Tab of the District 7070 Website www.rotary7070.org under "Public Image Newsletters". Please contact me or Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator, Brian Thompson, if you have any needs/questions/or if you just would like to talk about Rotary's story.
And we have added a powerpoint about Rotary's public image in this section of the website too.
