Here is a letter from DGE Beth Selby outlining the first learning and development seminar for the 2019-20 Club Presidents on Saturday February 2, 2019 at the Oshawa Golf and Curling Club....

Dear 2019-2020 Presidents,

I'm looking forward to seeing you at our first learning and development seminar on Saturday February 2, 2019 at the Oshawa Golf and Curling Club.  Please note that your  attendance at this session is a requirement of Rotary International as an incoming Club President.

District Trainer, PDG Doug Byers, and I have planned an informative and interesting agenda.  We'll cover a variety of topics relevant to preparing you to lead your Club in the coming Rotary year, and launch the 2019-2020 Presidential theme and logo.  And, we have some special gifts for you!

Registration beginning at 8:30am, and the day will finish by 3pm.  Please click here to register now so that we can confirm numbers for refreshments and lunch.  District Assistant Secretary Aziz Saleh will be there to take your head shot picture for ClubRunner, so please dress accordingly.

There is no cost to your Club for you to attend this seminar.  Please consider car pooling with your neighbouring colleagues for valuable networking time!

Each of you will receive a hard copy of the Rotary International President's Manual at our session, but please review it online prior to the day.  Log onto your My Rotary account, search Learning & Reference, click on Learn by Role, and then Club roles for Your Club: President - Club President's Manual.

If you have any questions, please contact me.  My contact information is available on the ClubRunner app. If you do not have the app yet, click here for details to get it.
