District 7070 is pleased to welcome 7 Inbound Youth participating in the Rotary Exchange Program. These incredible youth have bravely stepped out of their lives and culture of their home countries to explore Canada, learn about our communities, and Rotary. Throughout the year they will be drawing on their own strengths and character, managing bouts of homesickness, learning language and social skills. It is an incredible adventure for any 16 or 17-year-old to embark on...........

The objective of the Youth Exchange Program is to broaden their outlook by experiencing life from a different point of view by learning to meet and live with people of different cultures and to develop skills and confidence to last a lifetime.

Please take the time to get to meet our Exchange students when you see them.

They will be at the District 7070 Conference on October 25-27 in Muskoka.

Help them practice their English language skills and ask them about their orientation weekend that was held on Saturday, September 7, 2019. It was an information packed day reviewing the rules, regulations and expectations for being a Rotary Exchange Student. It was also a great weekend for the students to get to know their fellow District Rotary Exchange students, cultivate friendships and realize they can lean on each other to survive the lonely moments in the weeks ahead.

In Trenton on Sept 7, 2019
