Here is an important Letter to all Rotarians in District 7070 from Patti Wright, our District 7070 Youth Service Committee Chair:

2021 TRIP TO DOMINICAN REPUBLIC:

Dear Rotarians, Interactors, parents/Guardians, and Rotaractors:

I am now able to provide you with the one page flyer for you to get to all of the Interactors and Rotaractors asap with respect to the proposed YOUTH hands on trip to the Dominincan Republic in March Break of 2021. The information meeting is set for March 4, 2020. This notice needs to go out to the Rotarians in District 7070 as well as they are also invited to the meeting. The meeting room holds up to 200 people.....

WHY SO MUCH IN ADVANCE OF THE PROPOSED TRIP? As you are aware, we are using EF Educational Trips for this hands-on program. They do many trips of this nature and have the experience to assist us. They have a monthly payment plan to help students pay the costs of the trip and they can help the students fund raise as well. There is a discount of the price that ends on March 31, 2020. As well, prices may go up if we don't lock in the registrations now. The maximum number for this trip is about 24 students (minimum age would be 12) (need one adult (ie Rotaractor/Rotarian) for every 6 underage students). The minimum number of paid participants is 15 in order to make it an exclusive Rotary trip. If we dont get enough students (Interactors and Rotaractors), we will open up registrations to Rotarians. The trip includes 20+ hours of service.

Thanks

Patti
