This Rotary year,  our District 7070 Rotaractors have been busy working. Here is a letter from our District 7070 Rotaract Representative, Carolina Rodriguez to tell you all about it.......... 

My fellow Rotarians and Rotaractors,

This year our District 7070 Rotaractors have been busy working. We have had three new Rotaract Clubs that have been chartered in our District:  Markham Rotaract Club, Willowdale Rotaract Club, and Danforth Rotaract Club. As a social initiative, District 7070 Rotaract has a mascot, Mr.Ro-Bear!

Mr.Ro-Bear has been making his way through the clubs, starting off with the Toronto Rotaract Club, then at York University Rotaract Club and currently making his way to the next Rotaract Club.  

Toronto Rotaract Club has now launched their Mentorship Program! Their members have been very active throughout these past months with both community involvement and fellowship engagements. They volunteer monthly at a food bank and execute events such as trick or eat to support the food bank.

During the Month of December Toronto Rotaract Club hosted the District Holiday party titled "Spice Up Your 2.0" .

York University Rotaract Club recently partnered with a club on campus called JDCC to roll out a new volunteering series to allow Rotaractors to volunteers around the GTA. They are currently planning for their annual Social “Tink Tank” being held in February.
