Many have asked - so I am excited to announce that RYLA is back for 2019! On behalf of the 2019 RYLA District 7070 Team, I would like to welcome you in joining us to make this year’s program a success. The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) program of Rotary District 7070 gathers youth ranging from ages 19 to 25 for an immersive program focused on diversity, leadership, action and inspiration. ......
We have an active and energetic organizing committee, excited to build on the great successes of the program under Ric Williams' past leadership to provide a modern, vibrant program for 2019.
Theme: Inspiration From Around the World
Date: May 3rd to May 9th (7 days, 6 nights) (Incorporating the Rotaract District Conference)
Location: YMCA Cedar Glen Outdoor Centre in Schomberg, just on the outskirts of Toronto.
Participants: 40 maximum
Sponsorship Fee: $ 950.00 CAD per candidate (includes all accommodation, meals, programming)

If your club is interested in nominating and/or sponsoring a candidate, please refer to our application form. The application for participants is due on March 31, 2019 at 11:59PM EST. The District website, with an easy credit card payment option, will be updated later this week (cheques welcome too).
A key benefit of providing monetary sponsorship for a participant is receiving a Presidential Citation check mark for your cub. Your Rotary Club can further help by making a nomination for a participant (or multiple nominations) and by partaking in the 2019 RYLA Program as a speaker, facilitator, guest or observer. Your club’s contribution gets our participants one step closer to the Rotary family, further empowering the leaders of today in District 7070. If your Club sponsors a Rotaract Club - coordinate with them re the search for potential applicants. Overall, there's plenty of room to help!
