It came back by popular demand – the District 7070 Curling Bonspiel, on Sunday, March 24th.  It was truly a “funspiel” –  a great day with Rotarians & family & friends.

The day  featured a warming coffee to get you started, then two six-end games.  After the first draw, we’ll determine second game draw playoffs based on standings.

a buffet lunch was included – served between first and second draw

And of course…there were lots of prizes .

Were you there?

Please go to the District Facebook Page or take a look at the new album on our District website for lots of Rotarians and friends in a funspiel.

Six full sheets of ice at the Oshawa Golf and Curling Club, about 20 clubs from 2 Districts, Past District Governors, District Governors Nominee and Nominee Delegate, a few Presidents and Past Presidents and several Rotaractors too. Even an incoming Rotary International Board of Director. Thank you to Past District Governors Neil Phillips and Doug Byers. A good time was had by all. The winning team was made up of Mark Patel, Debbie Morgan, Tom Reed and Doug Byers all from the Rotary Club of Whitby Sunrise. Sensational .
