Dueling Pianos, a fundraiser for Twin Rivers RAH took place Thursday, March 7th at The Establishment theater in downtown Rock Island. Attendees could pay for song requests, and if they were lucky and had cash to spare, could sometimes even buy their way off stage. A limited number of “Stage Fright Passes” were available for sale to provide the “shy” audience members an insurance policy from getting picked to appear onstage.
But even the more timid folks seemed to fit right in with the lively audience as they clapped, stomped, swayed and belted out their favorite tunes with the talented dueling pianists.
“This was such a blast,” said Mary Beth Eggers, who came to support the neighboring RAH Club. “It was like one long sing-a-long of all your favorite songs, but with laughs thrown in too.”
RAH partnered with The Rock Island Rotary club for this event: their 4th Annual.
