Ride for Polio
On 19 November, a team of Rotary staff and I will join Rotary Senior Leaders, Rotary members from Arizona (D5500) and around the world in El Tour de Tucson to raise funds for polio eradication. The 104-mile ride, which attracts more than 9,000 cyclists a year, is one of the top cycling events in the United States. Our Miles to End Polio fundraising goal is $10 million.
Your club may help us reach this goal with a special Miles to End Polio DDF donation. The district that contributes the most DDF will receive a visit from President-elect Ian H.S. Riseley. In addition, the top five DDF giving districts from 1 July until 15 April will be announced on stage at the Rotary Convention in Atlanta.
Would you like you like to join the team? Take part in the Indoor Ride to End Polio! Ride a stationary bike at your local gym or at home any time from 12-19 November. Register today or feel free to encourage fellow Rotarians to register here and ride with us in Tucson.
To donate DDF to Miles to End Polio, please complete and return this form by 30 November. Personal contributions to the ride may be made as well and are eligible for Paul Harris Recognition Points.
