Each year from the end of November to mid December the Inbound North Island RYE students cross the Cook Strait for three weeks of adventure and discovery in the stunning South Island.
Over thirty are in this year's group and are chaperoned by our District 9940 super Rotarians. A challenge but no doubt an extraordinary experience.
Thanks so much to District 9940 Inbound Coordinator, Gaylene Lines, for a series of photos taken at a range of locations on the way. And here is the whole team waving out beneath the lofty splendour of Aorangi/ Mt Cook.
'Youth exchange provides thousands of young people with the opportunity to meet people from other lands and to experience their cultures. This plants the seeds for a lifetime of international understanding'.
