Meng Foon: Meng Foon is the Race Relations Commissioner, known for his willingness to challenge people’s views on what makes for harmonious race relations. International Panel: Rotary is an International organisation and through Rotary, we can all be involved in major projects and activities globally. Three people who have and are involved in Rotary internationally will share their experiences and discuss why a global focus is important for Rotarians. The panel will be led by Peter Kyle, a New Zealander now living in the US, who is involved in RI Peace activities and will be an RI Director in 2020-22. Kamal Sanghvi from India is a current RI Director, and involved in Rotary health initiatives. He is attending our conference as RI President Mark Maloney’s representative. The third panel member is Eva Hartshorn-Sanders, a legal and policy change-maker, whose recent Masters in Advanced Global Studies in Paris was partially funded by a Rotary Global Grant Scholarship.

Airforce Jazz Band: While technically not a ‘speaker’, the Saturday night entertainment features the highly sought-after Airforce Jazz Band, which “has been swinging for dear life since the actual big band era”. This is your opportunity to enjoy their sound and get your dancing shoes on.
