I am pleased to report that our District Governor and Assistant Governor visits are proceeding as scheduled having completed 32 of 50 Rotary Club visits in the first two months of this Rotary year!

Our Rotary clubs are engaging in local and international service projects, back to school projects, blood drives, Rotary social and family events, club fundraisers, disaster emergency relief and community assistance efforts throughout our District!  Everyone is to be commended for your efforts thus far!

Several Rotary clubs have already inducted new members.  We congratulate and welcome our newest members and sponsors for your efforts.  More members allows us to expand our Rotary leadership network worldwide.  It also enables us to make a bigger transformational impact locally and globally relative to our humanitarian service projects.

Rotary Clubs benefit too from a larger and more diverse membership engaged in a variety of club projects  that will ensure their sustainability in the years ahead!

We are proud to report that several Rotary clubs are already thanking and recognizing members who have made generous contributions to The Rotary Foundation having earned Paul Harris Fellow and/or Major Donor recognitions! That is awesome!

September is designated as New Generations Month.
We have an opportunity to gear up many of our youth programs including EarlyAct, Interact, and Rotaract clubs as students begin returning to school.

There are Rotary clubs offering high school students an international experience having taken advantage of our Rotary Youth Exchange’s inbound and outbound programs!

On a personal note, Elsa and I are grateful to have this opportunity to serve you as District Governor and First Lady during this year.  It is a unique and very rewarding Rotary journey.  I will continue to the best of my ability to support you and your club with the help of our dynamic Rotary District’s leadership team!

What inspires me most is meeting with so many of you who have shared your personal Rotary story.  You continue to demonstrate, through your actions, a desire to make a real difference in our communities!

Keep up the “Good Work” my friends!  This year will be over before you know it and there is so much to be accomplished.

Our Rotary spirit is alive and well.  One Heart, One Mission and One Focus To Fulfill Our Promise To Help Others and Provide Hope For A Brighter Tomorrow!  Dare to Dream Big As We Reach New Heights-Together!

Be The Inspiration,

Andy
