GVTC foundation donated $3000 for the Rotary Club of Blanco County April fundraiser. The Rotary Club of Blanco County is so very grateful for all of the support the GVTC foundation has given us over our first year of activation.With their support we have been able to continue our Hygiene kits for Johnson city and Blanco City needy children.
We have also been able to support our literacy program, PALS with new supplies; supported our middle school with chrome books and held an evening of Simple Supper , Tough topic for parents of Blanco ISD on learning about Human Trafficking issues while having a simple supper provided by the Rotary Club. We are planning to have a Simple Supper evening at Johnson City ISD in the Fall. Our 5500 Save-A- life kits have been distributed to many though out our county and we are very pleased to note that stories are returning to us on how the kits really made a difference in an emergency. It has been a wonderful year and we could not have done it with out the support of local organizations like the GVTC Foundation.
