Like most clubs, the Rotary Club of San Antonio is adjusting to what it means to be a Rotarian during this pandemic. Zoom Webinars have replaced in-person weekly meetings and virtual socials have replaced the happy hour.
It was during one of these virtual socials that the idea for the food distribution project at MLK Academy was born. The social quickly turned from catching up to COVID and “how can we help.” A planned service project at MLK Academy was delayed due to the virus. Now an even greater need presented itself at the school – how to feed the students and their families.
