ROTARY RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS AWARD
In recognition of the important role that businesses play in advancing economic conditions around the world, Rotary will honor six individual Rotary members and two business partners with our first Rotary Responsible Business Award during Rotary Day at the United Nations on Saturday 12 November 2016.
These distinguished individuals and companies will be honored for their commitment to using their time, material resources and hands-on assistance to address social and economic challenges locally or internationally.
Districts have the opportunity to nominate one Rotarian candidate and one business partner from their district that meet the recognition criteria.
When all of the nominations have been received, six honorees and two business partners will be selected by a selection panel appointed by President John Germ. Honorees will be notified of their selection by email the week of 12 September.
Completed nominations must be submitted to Rotary no later than Friday 29 July 2016. Therefore your notice to the District would need to be received ASAP.

To all club presidents
Rotary International has created a new award that will recognize the important role of Rotarians and their business partners in advancing economic conditions around the world. Six Rotarians and two business partners will be honored during Rotary Day at the United Nations on November 12, 2016.
Our Governor Jean-Louis Joly would like to submit two nominations for this prestigious award. I enclose a document setting out the nomination guidelines.
All nominations must be sent by email to the address indicated below no later than Friday July 22. No applications will be accepted after that date.
