Click here for a flyer about a very special event in Nowra on the 3rd of November to mark World Polio Day. The flyer relates to a movie length documentary that has been made by the Queensland University on this year's attempt to fly a paraglider from the summit of Mount Everest and success of getting the END POLIO NOW banner to the top of the world. The documentary is destined for television but it is possible that it could be used for local fundraising for Polio. The directors are very excited about the film and it will certainly provide enormous awareness for Polio eradication and Rotary in general. |
