DG Dick is encouraging our clubs to participate in "Pints for Polio" as a way to raise awareness in our communities about Rotary's efforts to eradicate polio worldwide, while having a fun social event for the club and community, and of course to raise funds for PolioPlus.
We're asking that your club pick a date in October; we are recommending October 8, 9, 15 or 16. Work with a local brewery/pub in your area, preferably with good outdoor seating to keep the event Covid safe, with masks recommended if the event needs to be inside. Please ask the brewery to donate $1.00 per beer and/or drink sold during the event, and we ask that your club promote the event within the club and community.
