District Foundation Committee
The District Foundation Committee would like to thank the many Rotary Clubs who have been setting their 2021-2022 Foundation goals in a timely manner. The Annual Giving goal must be entered into Rotary Club Central by May 30 to qualify for the district grant deadline.
Rotarians are known for their generosity in giving to those in need and readiness to serve others, and their support of The Rotary Foundation ensures that clubs have the resources to provide service to our communities and the world, through both district and global grants.
Rotary Clubs create positive change in communities at home and around the world through gifts to the Annual Fund. Contributions support projects that strengthen peace efforts, provide clean water and sanitation, support education, grow local economies, save mothers and children, and fight disease.
Incoming District Rotary Foundation Chair Dave Underhill has asked the Foundation Committee to build a network of club Foundation Chairs as a way of developing a sense of the value of The Rotary Foundation to individual clubs. We would appreciate any comments or suggestions on ways to strength Foundation giving.
As we move into the new Rotary Year beginning on July 1st, the District Foundation Committee stands ready to help you achieve your Annual Fund and Polio Plus goals for the coming year.
