BY THE NUMBERS:
The Annual Funds raised in 2018-19 ($510,495+) will provide increased dollars for our 5450 grants during the 2021-2022 Rotary Year (funds are invested by The Rotary Foundation for 3 years, earnings are used to manage TRF, and then our dollars come back to 5450 after 3 years).
Our PolioPlus efforts raised $186,914 in 2018-19. With the 2:1 matching dollars provided by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, our polio fundraising efforts have turned into approximately $704,000 toward the eradication of polio.
This year, for the very first time starting 7/1/19, District Designated Funds (DDF) will be matched $1 to $1 by The Rotary Foundation's World Fund and $2 to $1 by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (resulting in a 6X multiplier of your DDF) when donated to Rotary's Global Polio eradication effort!
