The RI theme for August is Membership and Club Development.  However, the PI team believes every month is membership!  
 
 
RI President, Shekar Mehta has shared his vision and “Action Strategies” to all Rotarians this month and he wrote:
 
Rotary’s strategic road map sets our course and strengthens us for the future by focusing on four priorities: increasing our impact, expanding our reach, enhancing participant engagement, and increasing our ability to adapt.  
 In addition, he put an emphasis on these 4 goals:
  • Expanding our reach through Each One, Bring One 
  • Serve to change lives
  • Commit to diversity and equity
  • Be a brand ambassador 
RI has set a goal in asking all Districts and Clubs to be Rotary Brand Compliant by June 2022
 
The Public Image team is here to support the clubs in their branding, website, social media, and public relations moving forward. 
 
We are reviewing all club websites and Facebook pages this month with the goal in mind to select 5 clubs that need help in Public Image.   We already have selected the Rotary Club of Silicon Valley San Jose and working with Club president Carol Goedde.
 
The team will focus on supporting these clubs, engaging them, and provide guidance and training as needed.  Our goal in the end is to provide a report card on how we all did, and what was achieved.
 
We also plan to work together with the AOS Chairs -- Community Service, Vocation, and collaborate on ideas and projects that can be introduced to the clubs – that would be community project and vocation oriented supporting local club communities and support member attraction.
