At the Upper North Shore's Club President's Group Meeting on 10 October, each person present was asked to present one simple strategy, process or idea that has worked for their Club. The following is a summary :

* Russell Croft from St. Ives. Varying the weekly meeting format with 4 different meeting types or venues each month. Examples included 1 breakfast meeting, a social meeting with minimal Rotary business, a meeting

with a high profile speaker at Avondale Golf Club and a " normal" meeting at Canisius..

* Charlotte Weatherall from Hornsby / Ku- Ring - Gai Rotaract. A 1 minute presentation from a member on the topic of their choice or a 1 minute answering of a question.

* Doug Reid from Wahroonga. A coffee club meeting at a coffee shop after their breakfast meeting's 8.30 am finish. Also having grandchildren visit a meeting.

* Pam Pritchard from Turrumurra. Success of 3 on me plus hand writing a letter to prospective new members.

* Tom Borg from Berowra. Involvement of the Club in Shaminda in Ethiopia and spreading the message to other Clubs.

* Peter Kirkwood from Wahroonga and PCYC. The Rotary Youth Hub at PCYC, and PCYC as a Community Service and Social Club with a huge diversity of activities and groups.

* Bruce Jacob from Epping. A jackpot raffle.

Each of these have been successful at the respective Clubs, so it is worthwhile giving strong consideration to one or more of these. They are working !!
