We (district 5650) are in Zone 28 which is comprised of 15 districts. It is the case that the composition of our zone is changing in 2 years. See: Zone 28-29 to view a map of the changes. Our zone (15 districts) contains 676 clubs at present comprised of 28235 members as of January 2018.
Our district started the year July 1 with 1996 members down from 2034 the previous year. As of January 31st 2018 we now have 1977 members.
For the record we lost a club this year (Schuyler) and two the previous year. On a positive note 15 clubs have increases as of January 31st and 8 have remained level.
Despite the overall dip I am optimistic as many clubs have increased membership and I am hopeful of a net gain by June 30th. Rotary is very relevant to the world today and thank you for your support.
