This message is going to all current club officers and President-Elects to update you on several things that will need your attention soon
- Nominations for At-Large District Board members. The new District bylaws transform the District Board in part by adding three At-Large Members. There will be one At-Large member from clubs less than 26 members, one from clubs from 27 to 76 members, and one from clubs over 77 members. This will be the first time that the board has members that are not primarily past District Governors. It's a great opportunity for your club to provide fresh insights and engagement at the District level. The requirement for an At-Large member is that they must be a past club president and an active member of Rotary in District 5650. We are asking you to nominate one or more worthy candidates to the board from your club. Nominations can be submitted to the District Administrator or myself. Elections will be at a special on-line business meeting of the District on Thursday, October 27th at 7:00PM. If you have any questions about nominations, please do not hesitate to ask.
- District Dues. Jim Mastera-our District Treasurer-will be sending out District Dues statements the first week of September.District Dues statement.
- District Newsletter. I'll be sending out the first District newsletter next weekend, as well as starting social media posts and my DG Blog.
