MAPETS 2019

President Elects…you will be chosen by your fellow members to lead your club; and you will be chosen with confidence in your ability to succeed. The Club President may be the most significant role in Rotary. Each year training is planned to help you succeed. PETS is designed to help you identify your personal leadership strengths and make your year one of the most exciting and fulfilling years of your life. Perhaps you will be inspired to take on greater challenges…in life, in work, in Rotary.

Every President Elect you meet brings their personal strengths and unique experiences to this shared journey. Some of your richest and most memorable experiences will come from getting to know your fellow PEs. The friendships created at PETS often last a lifetime and these relationships are one of the greatest strengths of the Rotary organization.

We are excited to announce our District will be joining forces with 3 additional Districts for the 2019 President Elects Training Seminar. It is scheduled for March 28-30, 2019in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Our fellow Rotarians in the eastern half of Oklahoma, most of Arkansas and parts of Kansas and Missouri will combine PETS to bring dynamic speakers and Rotary International officials.

While the travel may be a little bit longer, the opportunity to share and learn with over 350 fellow Rotarians will be well worth it. Like past years, the District will cover the cost of the event, to include meals on Friday and Saturday; and we ask the clubs to plan a budget of ~ $300 to cover 2 nights lodging and travel expenses. (Same as past years, except a different location.)  Here is an excellent opportunity to share a ride with a club or two near you!

So, President Elects and President Elect Nominees mark your calendar for March 28-30, 2019 for an experience you won’t forget. What a fantastic way to share Rotary!
